From Andy Keech #F1
"Congratulations on the up
and coming 50th Anniversary of the CSD. I must say that the younger
generations have not been slack on the oars of progress. There is
apparently no limit to the imagination going to practice. I like the
squirrel suits and the ability to track across ground. Before I left
Australia, tracking was an essential to get back onto the DZ because
the round steerables were more round than steerable. Tracking lost its
urgency with the ram air so this allowed skills to move in different
directions.
I will be back in Oz next year but doubt that I
will be back so soon for your big night. If that plan changes then rest
assured that I will take you up on this invitation. I am pleased and
surprised to be remembered. "
